Fishing Derby, 25 May 2008

Our 3rd Annual Kids' Fishing Derby was great fun! The Memorial Weekend event was not without its challenges, with a downpour in the middle of the action. But the young anglers persevered and many walked away with catches.

The event couldn't have happened without the volunteers that came down to help, and the many donations of snacks, coffee, prizes, etc. Special thanks to Gander Mountain for the outdoor related donations, The Switch Agency for the Glaceau Vitamin Water donation, and to Tim Walsh of Seanchai Communications, donating the new fishing poles and taking pictures.
